Abstract

"Terminology is the study of the relationship between concepts and the words used to represent them within specific fields of knowledge. It plays a crucial role in translation, especially for specialized texts in fields like chemistry, physics, and law. Terms form the backbone of any translated text and serve as the building blocks for conveying ideas and concepts across different languages and cultures. As globalization increases, the demand for accurate and consistent translation grows, making terminology management a vital aspect of the translation process. Translators often need to bridge linguistic gaps to ensure that the meaning of the source text is effectively conveyed to the target audience."
