Abstract

"Architectural wonders are the most expressive testimonies to human civilization. From China to Europe, they embody material, visual, and symbolic cultures. Their practical, social, and aesthetic functions, along with their architectural symbolism, form an integral part of the world's heritage, marked by technological advancements and the creation of meaningful architectural elements that imbue these masterpieces with cultural depth, social significance, and a spirit of aesthetic innovation. Consequently, the semiotic nature of architecture and its functional principles invite us to consider the interconnectedness of global cultures. It is essential that utility and beauty, heritage and modernity, and East and West converge for mutual enrichment."
