Abstract

This research falls within the sociology of religious conversion. It is a preliminary attempt to uncover the phenomenon of religious and non-religious conversion in Morocco from a legal angle. Although Moroccan society is a Muslim society that includes a Jewish minority, as stipulated in laws and legislation, the transformation that this society has witnessed, especially during the digital revolution, has revealed... Other religious identities and affiliations such as Christianity and non-religion.

This research addresses four basic issues:

1- Monitoring the reality of minorities and converts from the perspective of the Moroccan constitution that came into existence in 2011.

2- Analyzing the way criminal law deals with individual freedoms.

3- Study the law of parties, the law of associations, and civil procedure.

4- Deconstructing how the Family Code dealt with religious and non-religious converts.
