«On Denoting» is among the most important articles in the 20 century which interested in building the formal logic of language, Russell try to find logical limits based studying the identification between the denotation and the meaning in every proposition. beside, Russell criticises especially the Frege’s duality which separate the denotation and the meaning, considering that it’s not possible to divide them in order to reveal the true identity of entities as Frege supposed, in addition to his criticise to Meinong’s theory which defend the possibility of a perfect existence by language; distinguishing many linguistic distinctions and paradoxes, all for giving an explanation of the identity of existents.
