Abstract

Reading Mohammed Arkun's Koranic text reflects an extension of his multiparty intellectual project entitled "Applied Islamism"; Any opportunity to make a promise of its determination on the most important bets of applied Islamism, essentially in its quest to raise issues not contemplated in the Arab-Islamic heritage.

Foremost among them is the issue of revelation/Qur 'an, with the aim of overcoming the acute systemic poverty that has printed Eastern narrative and penetrating the doctrinal border that has struck the Coranic text for years.

in short, Arkun's critical and contemporary reading of some Quranic fence sought to reposition the Quranic text in history by going beyond all Orthodox and classic interpretations of the Quran, which attempted to transcend the Koranic language with a view to eliminating all the historical and partial facts and events from which it was born. This aims to enshrine a cosmic approach to religious discourse, while proceeding from and going beyond the Islamic "archétype"; Instead of imprisoning his approach within a closed Islamic fence, just as traditional Muslims did, Arkun relied on it and relied on Jewish and Christian heritage to provide universal religious knowledge.
