This translation aims to shed light on the secondary tribes of the Upper Mauritanian coast, where they, alongside the nomads, contributed to launching raids that gained them fame in the Sahara. Therefore, we decided to provide a modest translation of the study presented by Mahmadou Ba, entitled: “Secondary Tribes of the Mauritanian Coast,” which is a study in French that sheds light on those gatherings that include shrines, warriors, and tribal vassals.
