Abstract

One of the most significant aspects of the tourism and travel industry is the extent to which tourist destinations offer unique advantages that set them apart in the global marketplace. The degree of positive or negative differentiation determines a country's position within the competitive tourism market. This translated research paper examines one of the most important concepts and methodologies used to measure the level of tourism competitiveness among different countries (203 countries) using eight key indicators such as infrastructure, pricing, and human resources. This measurement is conducted using various statistical methodologies and symbols, which are used to classify participating countries into different groups and categories. As a means of determining these various measurements, data for these comparisons are obtained from various reliable international organizations that provide an official and accurate picture of the situation of different countries in various fields such as education, culture, health, security, transparency, and media.
