Our research topic titled "Philosophy and Daily Life" holds great importance in contemporary philosophical thought, as it sheds light on the issues of our time and the questions and contradictions they raise about human existence in its various dimensions. The task of philosophy, according to this approach, is not to transcend reality and pass judgment on it, but rather to attempt to approach the human experience of suffering and the problems and dangers that arise from ignorance and greed in pursuit of individual goals, apart from the public interest. Therefore, we have chosen to explain the meaning of daily life in relation to philosophy in our research topic. Philosophy does not rely on ready-made knowledge, but rather reexamines, criticizes, questions, analyzes, and ultimately verifies it, and as such, philosophy plays a pioneering role in finding alternative solutions to current problems through its various mechanisms of work. In the same context, we have included some philosophers who have focused on idealistic philosophy, illustrating that it focuses on theoretical contemplation without invoking the daily dimension. It is as if philosophy, within this philosophical current, is an intellectual luxury for a certain social elite. Therefore, we have emphasized the meaning of everyday philosophy as a philosophical activity that deals with the issues of its time. We have also pointed out some manifestations of "daily philosophy," especially the scientific aspect. Here, we primarily address the risks posed by biotechnological sciences, as well as environmental philosophy and the issues and challenges it raises that threaten the entire ecosystem.
