Abstract

The study aimed to identify supportive leadership practices in Jordanian higher education institutions in light of Digital transformation and ways to develop it. The study adopted a qualitative approach and the researcher conducted interviews With (20) faculty members from Jordanian universities. The results of these interviews showed that members Faculty presented five ways to develop supportive leadership practices that included following educational institutions Higher modern technical strategies and policies that support and develop constructive and creative energies, seeking Higher education institutions seek to empower leaders in their career and leadership positions and increase their openness to The surrounding outside world, higher education institutions activate social and digital platforms that support Supportive leadership and its development: Higher education institutions’ interest in training courses and technical workshops that It allows leaders to acquire new technological and digital skills. Higher education institutions are interested in seminars Lectures and conferences that call for the importance of leadership that supports leaders in light of digital transformations. The study recommended strengthening and activating supportive leadership practices in Jordanian higher education institutions.
